Goosky Legend RS4 Venom Helicopter COMBO - Pink (Unassembled)

Well, have to say hats off to Goosky and Helidirect for the prompt delivery. Received the helicopter in great shape, no damage to the inner box that it came in. I've been flying model planes for years but just starting to get into helicopter seriously. One thing on my bucket list was to build a helicopter completely from the unassembled state and I got my wish. What an outstanding machine! Every part went together and fit perfectly. Haven't flown it yet, however spoolled it up with the blades off at 70% throttle and the engine sounds fantastic! Just finished setting it up, so waiting for a nice day to fly her. Super helicopter. If anyone is thinking of buying one to add to the fleet, I wouldn't hesitate.

Super happy with my RS4 venom so far. I’ve gotten around 30 flights on it. Flys amazing. Build was super easy with the exception of having to set servo center on rudder, elevator, and aileron channels to 1520 in my TX16s for the GTS controller. There’s not much documentation on this.

I have been out of the hobby for many years and I am getting back into helicopters. I have only recently found helidirect.com and have since purchased 3 copters and many parts for inventory. I am not a 3D flier but I enjoy a precise, smooth flying helicopter. My 5 and 6 year old grandkids fly the FLYWING F200 with ease. Myself, I really enjoyed the YX F280 from Yu Xiang, it might be one of the best birds I have ever flown. Moving forward I wanted something slightly larger, so I went with the GOOSKY RS4 Venom Combo along with the Spektrum SPM9745 satellite receiver. If your satellite receiver does not have a bind button, you will need a Spektrum receiver that accepts a satellite plug in order to bind the SPM9745 to the transmitter. Assembly was perfect using the "Goosky RS4 Venom Build Series" by Jeff West from the Helidirect RC youtube channel. You don't really need the build videos as the included instruction book was absolutely outstanding. The parts are readily labeled and they fit with exact precision. When it comes to set-up, I created the "RS4 model" in my Spektrum DX9 by copying the YX F280 model that I already had in my radio. (be sure to change the servo frame rate in the transmitter from 22ms to 11ms when using a DSMX receiver). Also, I highly recommend the "GOOSKY RS4 Radio And FBL Setup" video by Jeff West on the westhobbiesrc YouTube channel. It is clear, precise, and in proper order. It also covers the bind procedure if you are using spektrum like I was. After following the instruction manual and the videos, my maiden flight was without issue and I am already into the tuning stage.
