Goosky Products don't disappoint. This 60amp ESC is working great on my TB40. It appears to be a Hobbywing v4 ESC. I used the ESC governor and had no issue. I also used it with NEXUS Flight controller as governor and again, no issues, works great. Also reading back ESC telemetry, so cool! I did have to cut off the goosky motor connector and soldier on some bullet connectors to connect it to my TB40 motor.
This is just a repackaged hobbywing platinum v4 60amp. It even works with the platinum series program box. Took me awhile going back and forth thinking this was a goosky only product. Gooky just put the hobbywing esc into a housing that can be bolted up to the rs4 venom directly instead of using zip ties to hold a stock hobbywing esc to the carbon plate that come with the kit. From what i read, the 60 amp will be just fine for 90 percent of people flying the rs4. If you got the skills to send it 100 with full throttle smack 3d flying, then the 80 amp woild be better. Im running a ikon2 fc and can do volt, rpm, and esc temp telemetry. Its limited, but those are the only telemetry values i care about anyways. The only thing im a little annoyed about is that no matrer what i do, i can get the esc and ikon2 to work togther using the ikon2 governer. The esc works when using its own governer, but it kind of stutters when using the ikon gov. Ive set it how its suppose to be; esc set to ext gov, 25 degrees timing, lvc off, and freewheeling disabled. Ikon is set to 20 poles 1:4 ratio. Idk. It will start up spool nice and slow. 2 seconds in, it i might surge a little and back down, then when at the rpm it will stutter a little. I will attach a video later if i dont figure it out this week and a new review explaining how to fix it because there is almost no help out there in youtube and rcgroups other then to just use the esc gov and not the ikon gov
Fits perfectly in the airframe, works great!
