All VMAR kits are trial fit at the factory and inspected to be free from defects & flaws in both material and craftsmanship at date of purchase. Warranty does not cover any components or parts damaged by use or modification. The pilot takes full responsibility for inspection of aircraft before and after each flight, making sure the aircraft is in flight worthy condition relating to safe control of aircraft. Warranty does not cover crash damage or failure of ancillary components unrelated to the aircraft.

Kit assembled easily, but one of aileron servos was bad out of box. Returned to center slowly when stick released, on 3 rate switch would not move on middle rate. Throw was greater in one direction versus the other. Plane comes with cheap 9g blue servos. Replaced all servos with some others I had on hand and everything was a lot better. Finish of plane is good, 9 out of 10. Others have been concerned about ESC, so I tested with meter. Motor pulls 12.8 amps on 3S pack, 19.5 amps on 4S pack with 10/6 prop. Have not flown plane yet but I think ESC will hold up, especially on 3S. ESC comes with Deans T connecter, I changed to EC3.
Two things I would change about kit:
1. Better cheap servos.
2. Oddball control horns on control surfaces have no adjustment holes. Makes it difficult to achieve recommended movement, even after moving pivot on servo arms to innermost hole. Everything has to be done with reduced rates on TX. This could affect gyro function if using gyro.
I have been a rc modeler / flyer for 50+ years. This product has an excellent price point. It is a well constructed almost ready to fly kit. All pieces fitted extremely well. I was pleased to find the wing mounting options was as a shoulder wing or a low wing configuration. CG was right on the expected range. As it is winter I haven't flown the plane yet but as having built, owned and flown over 70+ RC planes I anticipate excellent performance in flight. I highly recommend this aircraft.
Very good quality. You could have included a propeller as they are very inexpensive. Landing gears a little bit soft otherwise a good aircraft

It is a great/flying model and well worth the price as you do get a lot for just a little.
The kit arrived well-packaged and intact. I inspected the parts, determined everything was intact and serviceable. It took some work to make the rudder fit, the tailwheel rod had to be re-bent to fit, the wing-tube holes didn't line up, which meant the wings were skewed, and the left wing aft alignment pin was crooked. All these issues were overcome with a bit of effort, and she proved to be a stable machine once airborne. Not very maneuverable with the throws recommended, but a decent flyer nonetheless. I'm adding a better landing gear, located about 1/2" forward, and with throws maxed should be a fun little bird.
I received this plane yesterday and got it all put together last night... It went together pretty well... Just had to glue some reinforcements.. otherwise all is okay... Hopefully I'll get to the flying Field in the next day or two to give it it's first flight... I'll post another comment after the first flight...
