I always wanted to get into remote control flying and I love rotorwings. This is my first rc heli. I didn't like how most of the rtf options don't look like real helicopters but this one does. The shipping and packaging were great. Battery takes about an hour to charge. The first three flights were tough but once I figured out how to trim it out it flies great and will hover. The transmitter does not hold trim settings so it must be done every flight. It took a beating those first times too. Being that it is small it does not like wind. Honestly, for the money I couldn't be happier.
Very tame little scale helicopter that is great fun! Is it suitable for an absolute beginner? No... You're most likely going to have trouble as this is not a coaxial helicopter which are much more stable however, that being said, you can learn to hover and then progress to actual flights but take baby steps. Take off, hold it in a hover for 5 sec or so, and then land. Keep doing it getting longer as you get the hang of it. For the more experienced fliers Im sure youve seen the videos. Its fun!
Everyone says it's a great beginner helicopter, it's not that simple. My helicopter will not hover in place, so that makes it tough to fly.
