Good standalone or redundant receiver

I use this as a redundant receiver with a RX8R Pro as the primary receiver. It is easy to do this and adds an extra layer of protection, especially in an EDF that is full of wires, both control and power. I'd give it 5 stars if the pins were soldered on, but, then again, not everybody wants that.

Would not bind with my older FrSky QX7, firmware version 2.3.0 (5d19f711) date: 2019-09-05 eepr 219. FrSky has a version of ACCST XM+ firmware on their website which I tried, but it didn't work. I found an older version (XM+170313) that does work here: https://davesdronedesigns.com/frsky-firmwares/. I got instructions on how to flash the receiver here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUqaNiE5V-I

I have bought a few off these and they work great. I have had issues with the last one as it will not bind. I was able to load correct firmware. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
