SAB Motor Belt Htd3 375Mm - Raw500

These are Gates belts. Gates make some high quality belts. They are also made with cords inside, which makes them much stronger. I don't know why I had the issue that caused the belt to snap on my Raw 500, but it did. Maybe there was a flaw, but I doubt it. The tail was kicking out on me one day, it was a weird incident. I was seeing how far it was kicking out and the belt suddenly snapped and went flying out the side, too much torque on the system I guess and something had to give. I was able to auto the heli down without incident. I got a new belt put it on and re-setup the tail so it wouldn't kick out. I don't know why the tail all of a sudden started that, because it hadn't done that since I set it up. I've had 30+ flights before that happend. All I can think is that something came out of adjustment. I got it all fixed when I replaced the belt and set it back up, works great now.
