The description of this item is wrong. It's not a tail belt - it's the main belt. Having said that, this is a genuine replacement (Gates, I believe) belt for the motor to main gear. They are quite durable, when mounted correctly. Pretty much the same thing you'd find in a vacuum cleaner...LOL
