This is perfect for the SAB Piuma but I’m sure you could use it on any Heli. Thanks Helidirect!
Funny you buy a $1000 Helicopter, sink another $1000+ into electronics and motor and they give you this dinky 3D printed antenna mount... Mine broke from manhandling the antennas into the slots. Shame this couldnt be injection molded or something.
The Antenna Support works great, but the tape is not good for this application. Press a little on the Antenna Support after it is mounted and you will see what I mean. Use a better tape, like Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape 15lb. Also, I sanded the mounting surface of the Antenna Support to give it a smoother surface for the tape.
Good alternative to the Mikado antenna holder if you have room to mount the antenna holder.
Works like advertised, easy to mount.
