this is my third tx16s and is the best yet. I fly fixed wing planes and the tx16s does a great job of doing everything I want in a tx, fast shipping and great service from heli direct too
This is my second RM TX16s. I've been using one for the last 2 years and purchased this one to use with my Tamiya RC Tanks. I needed both sticks to be spring loaded, (center sticks, no throttle), and it's very easy to change modes or just make both sticks spring center. For the features and the cost, it can't be beat. The quality is great and feels solid in the hand.

Been awhile since I played around with rc aircraft. I couldn't believe the astronomical prices basic radio equipment retailed for in 2013 (former Futaba &. Airtonics customer). Until I stumbled upon open source radio equipment. Obviously Futaba equipment is rock solid but when you compare price, features, and quality nothing matches RadioMaster products. If you want to burn the money, by all means get your Futaba. If you'd rather spend the money saved on more important things in life get yourself a MKII. You won't be disappointed.
Purchased after being out of a hobby for seven years My Dx7 was outdated And old. My friend suggested a TX 16 S. Radio is not plugged in play was a learning curve thankful for the help of two friends that already owned these radios. The layout and feel felt like my whole Futaba 14 radio gimbals are nice and smooth. Great radio for the money. Been using it to fly I OMP2evo. Can’t wait to get my SAB PUIMA Set up and back to flying.
I've been purchasing from HeliDirect since the original RM TX16S came out. I then purchased the AG01 gimbals from HeliDirect. Recently, I purchased my RM TX16S MkII MAX from them. In all cases, I am happy with the service from these folks. They are fast to respond to queries and fast to ship.
As to the TX16S MkII Max, so far, it's a great step up from the OG version. There are a lot of little things, like a brighter screen with more contrast, the faster charging, the improved ergonomics, etc. I moved my AG01 gimbals to my new radio and I put the v4.0 gimbals in my OG radio. I was happy with my OG TX16S and now I'm very happy with my new TX16S MkII MAX. Thanks, folks at HeliDirect!
