It smoked on first battery plug

It looked great till I plugged battery.
Just 1/2 charged 6S pack to program this ESC, but it made "POOF" sound and died....

E-mailed HeliDirect and they returned mail next day that I have to contact to Hobbywing, so I did.
Hobbywing responded next day and told me file RMA. I got RMA folloing day.
So 4 days after it smoked, dead one is on its way back to Hobbywing.

Good news is they were fairly quick to respond, and replacement is on the way.
