Great little rig but when you go to upgrade the tolerances allowed is often to great leaving tons of play in mechanics. Also should have a brushless system and way better shocks since it’s a HAULER and doesn’t do to well with a rig on back unless it’s just a photo shoot.
Awesome truck. Between price point and all the features, well worth it.
I bought 2 of these. I just want to mod the heck out of it! It really doesn’t need any mods, so that’s why I have the one, to just drive, rescue some wrecks, and enjoy, but the other, I can’t leave nothing “as is” and just want to see how far I can push this thing. It’s worth every penny for what you get, and someone complained about a drive shaft… that is so nothing compared to whole package, and I have been quite aggressive with no damage so far.
The Arktos is an absolute must to add to the collection. So much fun in such a little truck.
Full Disclosure: I was sent one of these to review. But it's been so much fun and the build quality seems really solid. I LOVE that finally HobbyPlus has included a light mode with NO SIGNAL LIGHTS!! Speaking of lights, there are tons! There were initial quality issues with the links and driveshafts, but mine came with improved ones included in the box. I haven't had to install them yet, but I haven't had hours of time with it yet. Winch is super cool and surprisingly powerful.

There is so much going on with this truck regarding the design & customization that can be done…
It crawls right out of the box (shocks do need oil) & has full trail & climb capabilities.
I might buy another one just to have 2…

Drove one on Saturday and ordered that night. This thing is very capable and the winch is so awesome
Was planning to do up grades on this rig anyway but disappointed all the lights don’t work. After checking all connections and notifying seller, you weren’t able to send a replacement.
This car was absolutely amazing. It can hold a lot of weight and even fits some large cars. It is a little top heavy, but it’s understandable, it’s a scale car(this should not be a deal breaker) the drive shaft did pop out, but it was in a situation that I didn’t notice would have broken the drivetrain. The drive shaft coming out saved the car. They do give you harder drive shafts and links(greatly appreciated). This is a great car that is a god price compared to other cars. It has so many features! This should definitely be something in your cart!
