After one flight, a piece broke and we had to purchase additional parts

To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much. I fly nitro helicopters up to about 15 years ago and never liked the electrics I have flown. Until now. The build quality is really good on the S1 I received and it is very agile if you want it to be. It is also forgiving enough if you are new to learn on. I don’t regret my purchase.

If your into rc and like helicopters or want to get into them, then this is a purchase you won't regret!

Amazing helicopter I love it

I love the helicopter it's awesome but then the tail rotor stopped working and it crashed and it doesn't it's not really that damaged at all it just broke the horizontal stabilizer and the back propelller but the tail motor doesn't work it only spins up when you first fire the copper up or fire it down or sometimes kind of move but it just doesn't really move like it's supposed to . And give it enough tail authority to keep the craft from spining and when it's on the ground kind of spoiled up a little bit it won't move to the left or right it won't spool up then either. I guess I need help with it if you don't mind

I purchased this helicopter for my grandson as a birthday gift, he's 9...He has flown it about 10 battery packs with No crashes!!!! He loves it!!!! I've flown it too,and it hovers inverted just as good as my S2!!!!! Thanks He'll direct!!!!! For the great price and fast shipping all the way to Hawaii!!!!

The S1 flies very stable, extremely beginner freindly, very simple setup with simple adjustments for progress flying. The T8 radio that comes with the RTF kit is simple and easy to use woth hood quality feeling.

I bought the rtf package and helidirect shipped it out quickly. Was excited to fly it. About the 5th flight it started acting up. 1st it wouldn't take off. Then after unplugging the battery it was fine for 1 pack. Then it took off on its own. The next flight it randomly went to full negative pitch and hit the ground hard from a hover at 4ft. Finally figured out it was a faulty rear servo. Helidirect was quick to send out replacement parts. Top notch customer service. The S1 is awesome. Hopefully I won't have any other issues. Knocked off 2 stars for the hassle and frustration of having to wait for and install replacement parts on a new heli.... plus now my heli has been crashed...and it's surprisingly durable.
