This heli was a game changer for me. After getting frustrated using other brands and crashing and breaking I picked up this and was able to fly it with ease. My skills have improved because this heli is so easy to fly

Due to physical limitations, I hadn't flown any of my helis for more than a year. I decided to buy myself a new heli and get started again. I ordered a Goosky Legend S1 and "Patrick" in HeliDirect's customer service and support team was great in helping me get it into the air, responding to all of my questions and when I asked them, Patrick got back to me promptly. I have been out of the RC hobby since 2017.
I owned several Blade helicopters. I was disappointed by the experience. I bought an Align 450L and 550L. Unfortunately, my home was robbed, and I lost all of my RC stuff.

About 10 years ago, I met Ben Storick and have been a huge fan. He started doing reviews on the Goosky S1 and S2. I bought the S1 and immediately was impressed. The biggest problem that I previously had with helicopters was confidence and Tail Hold.

The Tail is rock solid. Now, I have time to think of other things than concentrate on the rudder.
Suddenly, I'm comfortable flying nose in. I'm flying figure 8s and a semi-funnel... I'm almost ready to flip it.

After my first day with the S1, I ordered the S2. It's even better, in my opinion. But, my friend offered to buy my S1, and I declined. in fact, I want 2 of them, another one as a backup. It's great!

being somewhat new to a quality product, i never expected the battery to be incased in plastic. in my panic, i emailed support saying " it doesn't work" my bad.
not only did they call me back but emailed me twice within 2 days. seriously? that is worth so much in a hobby where these things can be tricky. you have earned yourself a long-term customer. Please keep up the good work, it is appreciated.

New to RC helicopters and was recommended to try the Legend S1. Great recommendation from a club member. This little guy flys really well. No trimming or setup to fly. Very responsive. Extremely rugged as well. I fly RC planes and this made the transition to heli's easy. I bought extra batteries and recommend getting them. And get the charging adapter for standard chargers. I purchased extra main and tail rotors which I have not needed yet. Good to have tho. Saves on shipping.

I have long enjoyed RC aircraft. I have been away from the hobby since 2017. I went through so many blade helicopters. I have nothing good to say about them. Goosky has changed my mind about small helicopters. The S1 is a great way to get started in Helicopters, or to ease the return into the hobby. I find it predictable and stable. I appreciate the self leveling function on Normal mode. I think it's a game changer. I look forward to getting a S2 next. The S4 Venom looks like a winner too.

Can’t recommend this enough

I got this green S1 and a pink S1. Green one is awesome out of the box! Crashed it about 50 times with zero damage , then I started getting "better" and funneled it right into the side of my house which broke a main blade and a pitch linkage. Now back in business with new parts, still flies awesome! Got some color matching tail propellers/rotors and it really helps visually to see the tail compared to the original black prop. My pink one unfortunately has the tail out of control issue like one of the one star reviews here with the green heli. I can temporarily fix my issue for 1 or 2 flights by opening the app and making a change in the tail gyro setting ( any change! Up or down ). Then in a flight or 2 the issue is back and have to go in the app again. I'm sure he could do the same.
But the green one has been solid so far for me!
