The Tandem dual-band receivers are unlike any other FrSky 2.4Ghz or 900Mhz receivers, they work simultaneously at both 2.4Ghz and 900Mhz frequencies. That means Tandem receivers provide not only the low latency signal and long-range control but also benefit from the enhanced level of high reliability and anti-interference performance.
The Tandem series receivers adopt a dual-band antenna design (2.4GHz & 900MHz) that provides multi-directional wide coverage for the remote signal. The telemetry data (Power & Signal related) can be recorded using the built-in black box module within the Tandem receiver, useful for capturing data from any unusual status during the flight.
TD R6 receiver offers 6 PWM channel outputs and is bundled in a compact lightweight design, the receiver also provides two of 3-pin ports accordingly for SBUS Out and FBUS/S.Port. By setting the S.Port to the FBUS protocol, the TD receivers can open up the possibility of seamlessly pairing with multiple telemetry devices (Neuron ESC, Advance Sensors, etc.) as well as simplifying the build setup.

I noticed that one of the other reviews mentioned that he flies at a field that has interference issues, I fly at a field that has the same problem, was having hits quite a few times, the td receivers dont get affected by the interference so it is a much better receiver than the big name receivers

Great little receiver for basic setups requiring no more than 6 channels. The only thing I don’t like but haven’t had any issues, is a single 2.4 antenna unlike diversity/dual antennas of its larger siblings.

TDR6 Dual Frequency Review
We take a lot of radio hits on 2.4G (Spectrum, Futaba etc.) at our field which means we do loose aircraft because of the Interference. It got so bad, that no one wanted to risk a nice plane due to the interference problem till we tried the Tandem20 Radio and associated receivers. Since using the Tandem Receivers, we are back to loosing aircraft due to human error not radio hits. I highly recommend these Dual Frequency receivers ( TDR10 or TDR6) for any aircraft that you value. They're easy to Bind, a quality product, and really cost no more than the competition . You can't go wrong getting set up with these and Heli Direct is a great company to do business with.
