FlyWing Small Squirrel AS350 Helicopter - ARTF (w/o Battery and Charger)

I didn't realize there was so much assembly required. It was a mistake for me to waste my money on this RC Helicopter. I have several Fly Wing GPS RTC helicopters that fly great - this Squirrel is one i should not had bought.

• This is an early model product with Fly Wing collaborating with Roban who provided the fuselage. It’s not even available on Fly website.
• Early production did not have mounting screws on the main rotor gear. According to Fly Wing, it didn’t need it since the gear design rotation pushes the gear upwards on the shaft. I still went ahead and installed appropriate machine screws.
• A USB extension would have been a better so not have to carry an entire cable, though rear frame design with CNC bracket limits the type of USB cable can be installed other than what was factory provided.
• Longer wires are needed for ESC to have better option for its installation. An extra inch or two would’ve given it enough slack to avoid stress on the wiring.
• Battery extension cable was missing in the package.
• In my opinion, the mechanism mount could’ve been designed better. It may be mechanically advantageous but it leaves too much room for cross-threading the mounting screws since you have to do it by feel, upside down, rather than a visual alignment. Maybe, they should’ve considered installing it at the factory to make sure it’s installed properly.
• The canopy could fit a little better but looks fine from a distance.
• I’ll be producing an unboxing, assembly and maiden flight video soon.

When I started to assemble,noticed that blade grip screws not included and also the front window missing. David sent me the screws but not the window. The model looks bad, since it’s the only window and the FRONT!! Please send the window.

Overall it's a great helicopter but you need to do some modifications. I wish there was some spare part for this aircraft unfortunately can't find online.
