I've been using pulse batteries for a few years now and this was the first one I've had issue with. I bought 4 a couple years ago for a Kraken 700 build. Things had to get put on hold and I got around to finishing it up. When I went to charge the batteries I discovered one of them had a dead cell. It took me trying to contact helidirect multiple times before someone answered. Someone finally pick up on the 30th time calling. I said that I understand that they are well outside the warranty period but if I could send it to pulse to have it repaired and they just said "no". I do understand the liability shipping a damaged lipo so asked what I was supposed to do? He said I could make a smaller pack out of it. I have no use for a 1 through 5 S 5100mah battery so I asked if I could be sent a new cell that I could repair the battery and was again just given the response of "no". So I then said so I wasted $150 and the response was "yes". There are plenty of other acceptable batteries on the market now and I'll be switching to one of them. I also only order parts from helidirect anymore if no one else has them. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone and they also don't respond to emails.
