Got as a replacement due to a faulty flight board with a big discount from Helidirect. Shipped fast and all good right out of the box. Despite these having some issues from the manufacturer, they are fun little birds, pun intended. Love the scale look of it, and flying it is a blast. Helidirect has the repair parts too, so it's a one stop shop for most anything you might need.

This is a fun helicopter to just pick up and buzz around just remember 2 hours to charge the lith ion battery using 2.5 amp usb phone charger I usually fly it on the 3rd dual rate position as the others are kind of sluggish .

Worked fine in 7 out of 10 flights. The other three, it tries so hard to totally destroy itself. Check google for RC ERA C189 out of control. It'll sky rocket way up high, totally out of control and decline to descend. Then it just shuts off and drops like a rock. I've spend as much on repairs now as the heli cost to buy. (I also don't get a response from helidirect). I'm recommending a hard no.

Took these the other day during the calm eclipse.......have flown from 6 ft off the ground to about 100 ft. Alot of fun.

What a great chopper, easy to fly, really nice scale model....Helidirect has great service , the chopper arrived quickly, was fun to put together and set up. This is my first rc chopper and after about 30 seconds we had the feel of operating the unit. This chopper handles well, and is very easy to keep in the air. The auto take off and land are nice, but after a few minutes I was doing this manual, no crashes. Read the manual, and you are good to fly and adjust as needed. Will use you again , thankyou !
