I have owned my TB70 since June 2023. The only gripe I would have about the V1 kit was the main gear breaking after 17 flights. That was a common issue that Align addressed by releasing an updated heavier duty main gear shortly after. My TB70 is the V1 model in the yellow scheme canopy and after changing out the main gear when it broke, for the updated version, it has been an excellent flyer and performer ever since. I fly it as often as I can and enjoy it very much. The V2 has been upgraded from the V1 and I am sure it flies and performs excellent as well. Align has always been a great choice for hobbyists that want a receiver ready model to build, or an affordable kit they can put the electronics they want into it. Align helicopters have always been of great quality and reliable kits for all at affordable prices. I have owned Align kits in the past and I currently own three Align Helicopters, including my TB70, and all of them are fun to fly.

This the Align TB70 is a easy build and looks great. First FLIGHT WAS FLAWLESS... NEEDS A BETTER EXPLANATION ON SETUP WITH THE RECEIVER GYRO BLADE ANGLES. Experience building helps with heli nuances.

Have the original version. I don't appreciate how align handled all the issues with this kit. When it first came out it was plaged with major issues/problems. Then released mutiple "upgrade kits" to fix problems. Main gear and belt breaking on first flight, links breaking in flight, weak skids, motor mount misalignment, etc....
Sometimes I think I should of bought an xl power specter wce.
It flies good, mine weights 15 lbs 2oz. I'm running 12s. Do I regret my purchase, idk to be honest. Would I sell it? No. Is it the best heli out there no. Is it a clone? No, but it certainly has very similar design resemblance to some others not to name names. Some say it's a discounted sab, but idk. It resembles some other designs too.
